Rt. Rev. David Rice's Annual Episcopal Visit

Bishop David’s Visitation

On Sunday, 14 February 2016, The Rt. Rev. David Rice, Bishop of the Episcopal Diocese of San Joaquin will be joining us for his annual visitation. It is at this time that he performs baptisms and confirmations, as well as receives members into the Episcopal Church. Have you been considering making a more intentional commitment to follow Christ or to join the Episcopal Church? Perhaps this is the time to explore it further. Please contact the church office at 584-7706 or ecosoffice1@gmail.com. Those interested will meet three times prior to Bishop David's visit: January 17, January 31 and February 7 following worship. As a guide, we'll be using the book, Welcome to the Episcopal Church: An Introduction to its History, Faith, and Worship by Christopher L. Webber. Anyone is welcome to join the group, whether or not you feel called to baptism/confirmation/reception at this time, and whether or not you have the book. Questions may be directed to Deacon Gail at gailbernthal@gmail.com.
